The successful candidate will be given specific responsibility for the commercial development and sales growth of the Altra Brand within his territory. Additionally, 30% of the role will involve responsibilities typically associated with a Technical Representative, focusing on the development and support of ALTRA’s key accounts. /ppHow You Will Make a Difference /ppbSales Responsibilities (50% of the time) /b /pulliDevelop sustainable, profitable sales of Altra products through effectively managing an assigned customer portfolio. /liliPlan business to deliver sales in accordance with sales and distribution targets. /liliIdentify, open, and develop relevant prospective accounts, ensuring effective territory management and appropriate distribution spread in line with brand strategy. /liliVisit assigned customers on a regular basis, building long-term business relationships. /liliMake regular and professional product presentations to your selected account group founded on a clear and detailed understanding of our brand's Go To Market strategy. /liliConduct regular staff training sessions, both formal and informal, ensuring that all staff are fully conversant with the features and benefits of Altra product range and strongly motivated to sell the brand. /liliConduct demo runs using a sample set provided. /liliAssist at events we exhibit at either directly or alongside our retail partners. /liliEnsure that the product is in a prominent position, enjoying a high level of visibility, and that the retail presentation is of a high standard, utilizing signage and POS. /liliEnsure that the Altra brand is always represented in a manner consistent with the brand guidelines. /liliMarket Research : Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand competitor activities. /liliSales Reporting : Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement. /liliWork closely with your channel marketing partner to ensure the positive development, implementation, and success of trade marketing campaigns consistent with the brand guidelines and strategic direction of the brand. /liliObtain and analyze regular sell-through information to facilitate the order management process and increase brand awareness of market trends. /liliWe will create a visit schedule to train the store personnel. /liliWe will also look for opportunities to conduct product tests, always aiming to improve sell-out. /li /ulpbTechnical Representative Responsibilities (50% of the time) /b /pulliRepresent the brand in-market, drive account performance, and specifically sales turnover through staff training and development of ALTRA retail partners. /liliManage stock, conduct customer and market analysis, and provide sales and trade marketing support. /liliBuild excellent in-store relationships to ensure product is displayed in the best position and retail presentation is of a high standard. /liliLead the country Ambassador initiative to spread the word on Altra in local communities. /liliProvide internal support on samples and showroom set-up and coordination. /liliSales responsibility for smaller direct territory sales accounts. /liliWe will create a visit schedule to train the store personnel. /liliWe will also look for opportunities to conduct product tests, always aiming to improve sell-out. /li /ulpbSkills for Success /b /pulliMinimum 2 years’ experience in Sales (preferably within a lifestyle or fashion-based background). /liliStrong interpersonal skills. You need to be confident and capable of building good relationships. /liliA self-starter who can work independently. /liliData-driven with a quantitative and qualitative outlook. /liliGood organization skills and a solution-oriented approach. /liliDeep appreciation for brand and team culture. /liliComputer literate and good knowledge of MS Office packages. /liliThis role will require extensive travel, so a willingness to be out and about in the market is essential. You will also need a clean driving license. /liliIdeally, candidates should be based in or close to London. /liliRetail experience essential, preferably from within the running and outdoor sector.
