General Description :
Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.
The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving sales targets supported by defined resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops their commercial team.
Essential Functions of the job :
* Builds brand awareness for BeOne Medicines and its products in the oncology market.
* Establishes strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), study groups, and key accounts.
* Prepares the market for the approval of BeOne Medicines' products.
* Implements marketing strategies for upcoming oncology product launches.
* Builds and structures a competent commercial field team in Italy.
* Achieves regional commercial goals and performance parameters.
* Plans and monitors regional and cluster team budgets.
* Sets sales goals and analyzes market performance.
* Identifies developmental needs of team members and executes training and coaching programs.
* Provides scientific advice and support to KOLs in hospitals.
* Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments and leads the field cross-functional Cluster Team.
* Informs management of market changes and competitor activities.
* Supervises development and implementation of key account plans.
* Collaborates with Market Access to facilitate account access.
* Works with Marketing to optimize field force effectiveness.
* Aligns with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams on commercialization strategies.
* Participates in scientific meetings, symposia, and workshops.
* Provides leadership to foster high performance, engagement, and a positive culture.
* Attracts, develops, and retains talent, and promotes effective communication and teamwork.
* Builds strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in oncology.
* Centers patient care in business decisions.
* Ensures team compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
Qualifications
* Scientific education and experience in similar roles, life science degree, and professional experience.
* Over 5 years of qualified experience as a team leader in the oncology market.
* Proven success in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
* Specific knowledge of the oncology market, especially lung and gastric cancers.
* Strong supervision skills and high social competence.
* Motivated, solution-oriented, and positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Reliable contacts with oncologists and opinion leaders.
* Confident with medical and scientific expertise.
* Enjoys teamwork, project work, and networking.
* Strong implementation skills.
* Good English and computer skills, valid driver’s license.
Education Required : University degree in science or business, with at least 10 years industry experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities : Manages local/regional sales team, responsible for hiring, supervising, and developing the team.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office.
Other Qualifications : Proficient in verbal and written English.
Travel : Approximately 60% of the time.
