Job Purpose
As a Critical Operations Technician (COT), you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all critical systems in our Data Center, including medium and low voltage switchboards, generators, UPS systems, HVAC, and other essential infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations 24×7. Your work will be key to protecting the continuity of essential services and preventing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems, following established procedures (SOPs, SMPs, and MOPs)
Monitor critical systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA) and respond promptly to alarms to ensure continuity of essential services
Conduct inspections and checks on loads, temperatures, pressures, and alarm history to identify early signs of potential issues
Respond to emergency situations and support switching, isolation, and reinstatement activities, following authorized procedures
Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities by external vendors, ensuring proper documentation, safety, and quality of work
Update operational logs and management tools (OMS), ensuring accurate records of faults, maintenance, and ticket closure
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational procedures by providing feedback and suggestions based on field experience
What We Are Looking For
Solid knowledge of critical infrastructure maintenance, with experience in at least one of the main areas (mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration)
Familiarity with mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, LV/MV distribution, cooling systems, monitoring, and controls)
Understanding of redundancy concepts and best operational practices to maintain resilience during interventions or faults
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and project documentation.
Capability to safely troubleshoot complex systems
Strong teamwork skills, customer-oriented mindset, and curiosity
Good command of English is preferred
Availability to work 24×7 shifts
