Global R&D Packaging Innovation Specialist
Adecco Italia SpA, for a Multinational Company based in Italy, is looking for a Global R&D Packaging Innovation Specialist.
The position will play a crucial role in supporting the Global R&D Team and you will be responsible for leading packaging development and innovation initiatives, managing multiple projects in a dynamic and multinational environment.
Main Activities
* Analysis of the project briefs in the PLM platform;
* Scouting of Innovative Packaging solutions;
* Definition of primary packaging alternatives in partnership with suppliers, in order to have support for developments;
* Shelf life tests on the Primary Packaging;
* Definition of secondary packaging and end of line (shipper, pallet plan, etc.);
* Samples preparation and cost evaluation;
* Coordinate the execution of the New Product Developments and sustainable projects pipeline across the manufacturing countries;
* Guarantee the implementation if the projects in collaboration with interfunctional team;
* Technical sheet and packaging specification preparation.
Requirements
* Education: Master Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or similar;
* Work Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role;
* Technical Skills: Good knowledge of packaging development preferably in Food Industry;
* Language: Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish is nice to have;
* Avalilability to travel;
* Good knowledge of circular economy principles;
* Ability to lead multiple projects.
