Black Diamond Group’s WFS Marketing department has a full-time position for Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
This role is hybrid - in-office with 20% flexibility to work from home.
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will provide overall support to the WFS Marketing Team. This position will encompass a combination of digital marketing activities, content development & collaboration/coordination with the corporate marketing team and will support both business units on company initiatives. This contributor will work with the Manager, Marketing, WFS, to learn and apply digital marketing tools utilized at Black Diamond Group.
Our ideal candidate will come with some solid coursework in digital marketing tools such as SEO, social media marketing, Canva/editing tools and e-mail marketing. Candidates with internship experience will be prioritized. Responsibilities Content Development, Copywriting & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Create persuasive and engaging content to highlight products and services to be featured through project profiles, website copy, brochures and tear-sheets and other marketing materials. Integrate SEO and keyword research into all external content. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all communications that target our key audiences. Develop ad copy for online paid advertising to increase impressions and drive traffic to website
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges and to be reflected in content Social Media Engagement Support and implement social media strategies to grow engagement, awareness and brand presence
Collaborate with corporate communications team to ensure that tone and key messaging is aligned with Black Diamond brand standards
Support content creation, social content calendar, and community engagement across all platforms
Monitor and actively respond to messages and comments on social media and Google business profiles
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and impact. Assist in the optimization of sales team LinkedIn profiles Email Marketing Develop content and execute email marketing campaigns and monthly newsletters to feature products, services, project profiles and industry news
Assist in creating and testing marketing workflows within our digital tools
Work with inside sales representative to target new marketing contacts using monthly newsletter to increase brand awareness
Analyze user behavior to segment contacts and develop various levels of nurture campaigns
Maintain email lists, segment audiences, and track performance metrics
Ensure email content aligns with brand messaging and drives audience engagement Public Relations & Media Coverage Collaborate with corporate communications team to identify opportunities for press engagement and coverage
Work with internal stakeholders to create newsworthy content for upcoming and past projects
Draft press releases, media advisories, and briefing notes for public relations initiatives. Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities for press engagement. Administrative Tasks Responsible for ordering digital business cards, setting up accounts for sales reps and optimize profiles to ensure consistent branding
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Technical Diploma or University Degree in Marketing or a related field
Experience working with digital marketing tools including SEO, social media marketing, editing tools such as Canva, and e-mail marketing tools
Demonstrated ability to approach external communications with professionalism, timeliness and wholistic consideration of impact
Internship on a marketing team will be considered a strong asset
Desire to grow and learn on the job
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
