AcrossBoundaries.org is a fast-growing international company specializing in Italian Citizenship by Descent.

We help clients from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and other English-speaking countries obtain Italian citizenship through a fully managed and highly personalized process.

Our mission is simple: make a complex legal journey clear, transparent, efficient, and stress-free.

We are looking for a lawyer who combines legal expertise with strong project management, client relationship, and business-oriented skills.

This is not a traditional legal role. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of client cases, managing multiple projects simultaneously, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth.


Role Overview

As an Italian Citizenship Lawyer & Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for managing citizenship applications from start to finish.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their journey, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high legal standards and efficient case management.

You will work closely with Italian authorities, foreign institutions, courts, and internal team members to move cases forward and deliver successful outcomes.

This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fully remote and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Case Management
  • Manage Italian citizenship by descent applications from initial assessment to final outcome.
  • Analyze client eligibility and identify the most appropriate legal pathway.
  • Prepare, review, and submit legal documentation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings when required.
  • Stay up to date on developments in citizenship and immigration legislation.

Project Management

  • Manage a portfolio of multiple active cases simultaneously.
  • Track deadlines, dependencies, risks, and priorities across client projects.
  • Coordinate with municipalities, consulates, courts, archives, and external partners.
  • Ensure each case progresses efficiently and proactively identify bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within company systems.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the trusted advisor throughout the client's citizenship journey.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with international clients.
  • Provide regular updates and manage client expectations.
  • Build strong long-term relationships based on trust and transparency.

Business Development Support

  • Identify additional services that may benefit clients.
  • Recognize opportunities to improve client value and experience.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, services, and operational efficiency.
  • Support company growth through a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.


What We Are Looking For

Professional Requirements

  • Law Degree.
  • Admission to the Italian Bar Association.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian citizenship law and/or immigration law.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • High level of digital proficiency and comfort working remotely.
