With a clear vision of how AI and agentic systems can redefine citizen services, you’ll help streamline processes and enhance user experiences through the synergy of technology and human expertise. /p pAs an bAccount Solution Engineer /b, also known as a "Presales Consultant," "Sales Consultant", "Pre‑Sales Engineer", "Sales Engineer" or "SE", you'll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning solutions to enhance our customers' experience. /p pYou’ll collaborate with customers, account executives, product specialists, and partners to develop innovative solutions that connect public sector organizations with their constituents in new ways. You’ll translate the complex needs of Italian government entities into practical and impactful solutions, effectively communicating the value of Salesforce products like bPublic Sector Solutions Cloud /b and bService Cloud /b. /p pThis role offers the unique opportunity to engage across the entire customer lifecycle, leveraging your curiosity, creativity, and technical acumen to drive innovation in a results‑oriented, ever‑evolving environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liClearly and confidently articulate the value and benefits of Salesforce as a company and as a platform to all levels of public sector organizations, including functionaries, IT managers, executives, and policy makers. /li liAssess business requirements within public administrations, identify challenges, and propose solutions that address regulatory, operational, and innovation needs, highlighting return on investment. /li liManage the entire solution cycle, working closely with cross‑functional teams (sales, consulting, delivery, partners) to ensure a cohesive and impactful proposal. /li liDeliver tailored Salesforce demonstrations that reflect the unique processes of Italian public sector organizations. /li liDemonstrate expertise in leveraging AI and cloud applications, showing how these technologies can automate processes, improve citizen services, and reduce bureaucracy. /li liPrepare and deliver presentations, respond to RFPs, and provide technical training and support to both customers and internal teams. /li liGather feedback from public sector clients and collaborate with product development teams to continuously enhance our solutions. /li liMonitor public sector trends and technological innovations to ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of digital transformation. /li liPromote enablement activities (webinars, best practices, knowledge sharing) and participate in internal training and mentoring initiatives. /li liArticulate the value of innovation, AI specifically, through storytelling and value positioning. /li /ul h3Requirements Skills /h3 ul liPrevious experience in presales roles (Solution Engineer/Presales) for CRM, AI, or cloud solutions, preferably in the public sector or regulated environments. /li liExperience working with Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions. /li liDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience evaluated on core role competencies. /li liStrong listening, analytical, and business requirement translation skills. /li liCustomer‑oriented, curious, and critical thinker with a passion for public sector digitalisation, automation, generative AI, and agentic technologies. /li liExperience implementing Digital Transformation strategies, enterprise consulting and delivering increased success to their customers. /li liFunction effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑energy market segment and successfully balance multiple projects (Sales opportunities, enterprise RFPs, SME programmes, internal enablement, etc.). /li liSelf‑driven, adaptable, and proactive in managing your own professional growth. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. /li liFluent in Italian; proficiency in English is mandatory. /li liLY‑I. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pUnleash Your Potentialbr/When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
