Role Summary & Impact

The Media Analyst will serve as a pivotal member of our dedicated client team, a large international company, providing comprehensive analytical support to transform media activity data into actionable insights. This role, blending client care and media research, focuses on data analysis, interpretation, and strategic reporting. You will be instrumental in empowering internal media planning and management teams, ensuring effective strategy execution, proactive optimization, and informed decision-making through competitive analysis, post-analysis, and centralized, cross-category reporting.

Key Responsibilities

4. Monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of media activities on defined KPIs, utilizing reporting systems and internal tools, and proposing solutions to improve performance.
5. Developing and delivering regular and ad-hoc campaign reports, interactive dashboards, and translating complex data into clear stories that drive strategic action.
6. Conducting competitive analysis and media resource allocation analysis to benchmark client activity within the market, offering context and foresight for strategic planning, including numerical competitive data analysis.
7. Collaborating closely with media management & delivery team, providing data for activity optimization and future strategy definition.
8. Contributing to the design and implementation of reporting frameworks and analytical approaches, with a focus on automation and workflow improvement.
9. Extracting and analyzing both Digital and Offline data from various sources and specific tools.

Requirements

10. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or related fields).
11. 2-3 years of proven experience in analytical, reporting, or data-driven roles, preferably within media agencies.
12. Demonstrating skills in using Excel for advanced analysis.
13. Leveraging knowledge of key media measurement tools (e.g., Nielsen AQX and Google Analytics) and Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) to drive exploration and problem-solving.
14. Exhibiting excellent critical thinking, precision, and a deep curiosity for interpreting complex data and formulating strategic recommendations.
15. Demonstrating proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
16. Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
17. Showing keen interest and proactivity in applying advanced technologies, including AI, to optimize analytical processes.
