Job Description
The candidate will report to the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for leading the Electrical & Special Systems Design Team, coordinating project activities, and contributing directly to the electrical design of industrial systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Electrical and Special Systems Design Team
* Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives
* Monitor project progress, timelines, and resource planning
* Ensure proper implementation of internal processes and engineering standards
* Design electrical and special systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities
* Prepare technical documentation, including: technical reports; technical specifications and tender documents; cost estimates and bills of quantities
* Develop electrical single-line diagrams
* Produce layout drawings and system plans
* Perform calculations and system sizing
Profile Description
* Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant/electrical system design
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma as an Electrical Technician
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.G., Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Directive, ATEX)
* Availability for short business trips within Italy and occasional international travel
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
* Dynamic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* English language knowledge (from good to advanced)

* Experience with Progetto Integra software
* Experience with DiaLux software
* Experience with Eplan P8
* Experience with TNE software
* Knowledge of Performance Level calculation tools
* Familiarity with PLC-based systems
* Registration to Professional Association
