We’re seeking for a TV Programmer to join our dynamic Entertainment Department onboard Costa vessels, contributing to an engaging and high‑quality TV experience for both Guests and Crew.
TV Programmer – On board position:
WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE:
- secondary school degree
- experience in TV broadcasting station and/or video production studies
- knowledge of video cameras and audiovisual equipment
- attention to detail and ability to follow Company guidelines and layouts
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- problem‑solving attitude
- English knowledge (at least B1 level)
LIVE YOUR AMBITION, LEAD YOUR IMPACT:
You will contribute to the correct maintenance, functioning and programming of the onboard TV system, ensuring a coordinated, engaging and professional broadcast service.
TV Broadcasting & Programming:
- You will broadcast and constantly monitor all TV programs and background music in line with the daily activity planning.
- You will ensure the coordinated airing of sport events and major international interest events in public areas and on onboard TVs.
Video Production & Editing:
- You will shoot videos during onboard activities and events that need to be recorded, editing them for TV broadcast.
- You will ensure that all video content strictly follows Company visual guidelines and layout standards.
- You will collaborate with the TV Director Assistant to produce video content dedicated to Guests.
Technical Support & Collaboration:
- You will assist the Lounge Technician during the setup and broadcasting of videos to guarantee the execution of complex activities.
- You will support ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of TV and video equipment, including cameras, cables, set‑top boxes, remote controls and TVs in Guest and Crew cabins, ensuring fast resolution of technical issues.
Safety Culture & Awareness:
- You will take active part in a work environment that supports a strong safety culture.
- You will be a dynamic contributor in following safety policies and procedures, supporting onboard operational standards.
