Go Goodyear Location Italy / Assago - Remote work: Yes / No Organization: Credit Job level: Global Grade - 06 Additional fields if needed: The position reports to the Finance Manager South Europe and is the credit lead in the local organization, acting as a business partner to the business, safeguarding the company from credit issues while supporting top-line growth. Primary Purpose of the Position Engage in structural activities to optimize DSO, deliver year-end and average DSO targets. Ensure timely collection of cash and accurate recording of customer receipts. Lead follow-up of past dues, engage in legal actions if necessary (together with legal department). Monthly reporting of KPIs, collections, and AR balance forecasts. Drive an efficient, aligned, and effective organization with good collaboration with the shared service center. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Minimize the risk of bad debt: monitor customer creditworthiness, maintain procedures for issuing credit limits, review credit policies regularly, and support the sales force with credit counseling during negotiations. Meet DSO targets by working with sales to negotiate payment terms, implement DSO reduction projects, and execute one-time actions like early settlement discounts. Monitor performance, report, and forecast: lead monthly credit meetings, explain performance, track KPIs, and manage the AR forecast and DSO model. Maintain accurate AR ledgers and internal controls: ensure timely AR receipt postings, bad debt reserve management, compliance with internal controls, and quarterly review of Sarbanes-Oxley documentation. Education Solid finance background with a general understanding of finance; Degree in Finance or Accountancy; credit experience in control or support roles. Experience Essential: experience in similar industries (B2B) and customer portfolios; Desired: credit management in similar organizations (4-8 years), US multinational experience a plus. Knowledge & Skills Financial analysis Influencing business decisions at senior levels Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office Strong communication skills, fluent in English High emotional intelligence, ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders Self-motivated, energetic, responsible, with a problem-solving attitude Driving license and regular customer visits For questions, contact HR Representative: Rossella Vasini.
