WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Direct Buyer for Emerging Technologies, within IVG Group Procurement Direct Sourcing Areas, is responsible for managing a complete product line for electrification components, overseeing the following activities:
* Suppliers’ selection and sourcing for assigned product lines. Discussing and reaching agreements on price increase, LTA/LTC and relevant contractual terms.
* Leading and facilitation of pricing negotiations and contract discussions.
* Management of the entire sourcing process (Direct Material or Capex and Services), developing supply base management strategies that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing.
* Build up forecast and budget estimations of Suppliers managed.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new sourcing opportunities.
* Monitor market trends included competitor’s move and key supplier’s in the industry. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
* Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
DESIDERED SKILLS
* Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree or similar degree will be considered a plus
* At least 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the electrification or electrical manufacturing sector.
* Good knowledge of electrical components, systems, and electrification technologies (e.g., EV batteries, emotor and inverter, power electronics etc).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
* Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP systems is a plus.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Proficiency both in Italian and English.
