We are looking for a motivated and curious individual to support the Transport, Customs & Compliance team in a variety of operational and analytical activities. This internship offers exposure to multiple topics and functions, making it an excellent starting point to explore different areas and identify where to focus your future career path.
How you will contribute
This is a support role that will collaborate across several domains, including:
·Business Finance Support
1. Monthly data extraction: Pull shipment data from our systems to analyze trends, detect issues, and identify improvement opportunities (i.e. reverse database)
2. Budget monitoring: Assist in finalizing and maintaining the Interlog dashboard for budget vs actual figures, ensuring the data correctness and completeness.
3. Data quality: Support account and master data cleaning in the systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4. Provider budget updates: Collect data from transport providers and help update budget forecasts.
·Performance & Data Analysis
5. Performance monitoring: Conduct quality and completeness checks on transport and customs data; support stakeholders with data validation and issue resolution.
6. Sustainability dashboard: Normalize and import data files to maintain sustainability tracking tools.
7. Ad-hoc reporting: Prepare customized reports and data files based on internal requests from various teams.
·Process Documentation & Team Support
8. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for recurring activities such as file updates, manual uploads, consistency checks, and procedural workflows.
9. Overall team support: Provide support to other team members and projects as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and contributing wherever required.
Who you are
10. Educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
11. Good level with Excel and PowerPoint. Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
12. Fluency in English; Italian is a strong asset.
13. Curiosity & growth mindset: A genuine interest in learning and improving, with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
14. Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and contribute to performance dashboards and reporting tools.
15. Team collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to support cross-functional teams.
16. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
