Our mission is to deliver data‑driven analytical solutions that empower sellers to thrive on Amazon's global platform. We specialize in constructing and maintaining intricate standard data pipelines that are used by thousands of users across the globe to measure, derive, and analyze the performance of sellers on Amazon. We are currently in search of a brilliant, self‑driven, and seasoned BIE II to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build scalable solutions, including extensive data models and complex ETL pipelines, and utilize your expertise to raise the bar on data timeliness, discoverability, and availability. About the Team The International Seller Services Central Analytics (ISS‑CA) team is a highly specialized, cross‑functional group tasked with driving critical business insights and breakthroughs. Composed of experts from diverse backgrounds—including scientists, economists, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts—the team is at the forefront of leveraging massive‑scale data, advanced analytics, and machine learning techniques. Their mission is twofold: first, to uncover revolutionary insights into the behavior and performance of third‑party sellers on the platform; second, to provide data‑driven foundations for strategic business decisions that propel the seller ecosystem to new heights. Key Job Responsibilities
Provide analytical support to product and program managers and engineers using massive‑scale data. Translate data into meaningful insights using SQL, Excel, Python, and other analytical tools. Own insights and play an integral role in tactical decision‑making for critical risk areas. Build self‑service tools and dashboards that give aggregated metrics and allow pulling granular data for defect verification, customer communication, deep dives, and more. Perform deep‑dives and data analysis; provide recommendations on new metrics or business decisions. Mentor teammates; contribute to team and organization‑level strategic planning; lead cross‑org discussions.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab. Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience in Python.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift. Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large‑scale, complex datasets.
