This matters because inclusion brings innovation and engagement, people feel valued and empowered. /ppbGeneral Job Requirements : /b /ppReporting to the Payroll Director, Global Financial Solutions (GFS), this position will be responsible for the payroll accounting team and all associated requirements of payroll accounting function. /ppbJob duties include : /b /pulliThe development of strong relationships with key stakeholders, in particular with market finance teams across EMEA, APAC and US. /liliMaintains ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with the worldwide Controller’s manual and to all applicable laws and regulations. /liliEnsure financial records are in compliance with GAAP. /liliConsistently maintains appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies and procedures including Worldwide Controller’s manual. /liliManages, prepares, administers, and directs the accounting close and financial reporting process for the payroll function. /liliResponsible for the timely and accurate review of month-end close and accounting transactions; PL and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation, and resolution. /liliContribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture. /liliLead audits for Payroll and interacts successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication. /liliCoordination of Balance Sheet Reviews with the relevant Controller and Market Finance Leads. /liliLead with Controllership on ad hoc requirements. /liliKey payrolls contact and leads completes accounting tasks for our key markets e.g. France, Spain, Italy. /liliLead Blackline and all required reconciliations per month end close cycle. /liliSupport on tax queries from market and interactions with Deloitte as needed. /liliSupport the monthly operations decks process for one or more entities within the GFS. /liliResponsibility for Accounting SOX Compliance and controls for all markets within the GFS. /liliResponsible for leading IPE within accounting team and all related audit requirements in this area. /liliResponsible for performance management and development of staff. /liliAbility to travel is necessary if required. /li /ulpThe person we seek will ideally have payroll accounting experience in a similar organization operating in several major countries in EMEA, LATAM Asiapac and in depth knowledge of general accounting policies and procedures. Experienced and knowledgeable in a shared services payroll environment. /ppQualified Accountant or person with an equivalent accountancy qualification with a fundamental understanding of what it takes to operate within a multi-country environment in a multi-national corporation. Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under pressure and to meet strict reporting deadlines. People management experience is essential. /ppExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and different cultures. Self-starter and able to act on own initiative, with high levels of integrity, excellence and teamwork. Detailed knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance. /ppEstablished experience preferably within a Multinational Company. Ability to interact successfully with non-financial personnel as well as with internal and external auditors. /ppThis role requires a flexible and adaptable individual, an individual who has strong peripheral vision to allow them to capture accounting related matters in established markets and work closely with the multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance. /ppWorking knowledge and experience of Oracle / SAP or similar ERP product would be beneficial. Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required. Proven analytical ability and creative problem-solving skills. /ppAbility to travel is necessary if required.
