The activity of AWS domain: front desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, technical support for A/C developers, operators and maintenance centers.
The Avionics Maintenance Technician at Thales Avionics Services Worldwide (Italy) will be responsible for repairing avionics equipment while adhering to lead times, cost, and quality expectations. The role also involves progressing toward becoming Certifying Staff for Repair Activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Avionics Maintenance Technician at Thales will have the following main responsibilities:
* Ensuring the repair of mechanical and electronic equipment.
* Performing inspections, fault investigations, and repairs on equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance documentation.
* Guaranteeing repair quality, adherence to lead times, and cost efficiency.
* Preparing technical quotations and workshop reports.
* Ensuring equipment conformity.
* Maintaining activity traceability within the ERP system (SAP R3).
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
* Diploma in electronics (“Perito Elettronico” level).
Experience:
* 5 years of experience in the aeronautical domain.
Other Skills:
* Languages:
o Italian (proficient in speaking, reading, and writing).
o Technical English (ability to read technical documentation and write technical shop reports).
o Knowledge of French is a plus.
* Previous qualification as Certifying Staff in Civil (CIT C) is a plus.
* Teamwork and adaptability.
* Proficiency in electronics.
* Computer skills: Familiarity with the Office Suite.
* Soft skills:
o Curious, autonomous, reactive, proactive, and rigorous.
o Strong synthesis and flexibility skills.
