Italy is a dynamic and growing market and is looking for a native Italian speaker Financial Operations Specialist to join our local Finance team and support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and dynamic finance professional with a structured background in accounting and a strong interest in analysis and reporting. You will contribute to core accounting tasks, support financial processes, and assist in delivering ad hoc financial analysis. Lead accounting operations including general ledger entries and reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and balance sheet reviews. Ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting. Liaise with internal departments to gather relevant financial information and ensure completeness of records. Oversee the processing and reconciliation of payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Maintain and update cash flow reports and assist in cash forecasting. Help the Finance Manager to prepare financial forecasts, variance analysis, and monthly reporting packages in coordination with the FP&A team. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within finance operations. Lead the audit process, including preparing audit documentation and schedules. Qualifications: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Solid knowledge of local accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Datev Koinos and Workday systems. 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, a proactive solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and international environment. Fluent in English. Experience with cash flow management & reporting is a plus.
