Job Description
\nGeneral Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer with geospatial experience to support U.S. Army Europe. This position supports mission-critical systems within secure environments, including Digital Common Ground System-Army and Esri technologies such as ArcGIS.\n
The ideal candidate brings a mix of systems engineering and GEOINT experience, supporting both operational missions and training environments.

\n
- DCGS-A Support - Provide administration and sustainment of Digital Common Ground System-Army systems; Support installation, configuration, and upgrades of DCGS-A software and components; Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for DCGS-A environments; Assist analysts and operators with data access, dissemination, and system functionality issues; Support DCGS-A during Army and joint exercises, ensuring system availability and mission readiness; Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve integration and interoperability issues

- ArcGIS / Geospatial Support - Administer and support ArcGIS environments and services; Manage geospatial data, services, and user access within ArcGIS platforms; Support publishing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GIS services and applications; Assist users with map products, data layers, and geospatial workflows; Perform system updates, patches, and performance monitoring for GIS infrastructure

- General Systems Engineering - Administer Active Directory and manage user access; Configure and support Windows and Linux operating systems; Deploy and maintain VMware virtualization platforms; Perform system troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective actions; Provide on-site technical support in operational environments; Maintain Authority to Connect (ATC) compliance and cybersecurity documentation; Perform routine system administration (patching, backups, upgrades, user management); Develop and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams

\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\n\n
- Security Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance
\n
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5–8+ years of related experience
\n
- Required Technical Skills & Experience: Experience with Army GEOINT systems, preferably Digital Common Ground System-Army; Working knowledge of Esri tools such as ArcGIS (or similar GIS platforms); Experience supporting military or joint exercises
\n
- Certification: DoD 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II baseline, e.g., Security+); Relevant Computing Environment (CE) certification (Microsoft, Linux, VMware, etc.)
\n
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
\n
- Eligibility for Italian SOFA status
\n
\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n
- Experience supporting both DCGS-A and ArcGIS environments
\n
- Familiarity with GEOINT workflows or ISR systems
\n
- Experience supporting OCONUS or deployed environments
\n
- Experience integrating geospatial systems into enterprise IT environments
\n

Salary and Vantaggi Information The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
