A great opportunity to join as a Director of F&B at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Venice
The Director of F&B reports directly to the Hotel's General Manager and is part of the Excom Team.
As Director of F&B you will be responsible for the smooth and profitable operation.
Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* Supervise daily operations of all F&B venues.
* Monitor guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Supervise recruitment, lead talent development and performance management, suggest training necessities.
* Manage budgets, financial performance, and forecasts.
* Develop new F&B strategies to keep on improving quality and guest satisfaction while monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
* Provide leadership, vision, and direction in a period when many of the F&B venues will undergo a full renovation project.
* Always ensure the execution of the Leading Quality Assurance standards and action plans for improvements when necessary.
* Collaborate with Finance and Purchasing to maintain budget compliance.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in F&B leadership roles, international experience within luxury hotels or resorts is a plus.
* Demonstrated success in managing high-quality F&B venues.
* Italian speaking is a must as fluency in English; a good knowledge of French will be beneficial.
* Ability to lead, support, and motivate the team in a period of renovation.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Remarkable problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Good understanding of inventory, cost control, and budgeting.
