We are currently offering an exciting role to expand our legal team in Europe. As
Junior Legal Counsel Europe,
you will be a key member of our European team and will play an important role in the acceleration of JinkoSolar’s growth in our key markets across the region. Reporting to the General Counsel Europe, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, researching and executing a wide variety of legal documents. Moreover, you will provide effective legal advice in the implementation of crucial compliance schemes and processes, as well as monitor their implementation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This role will give you the chance to work in a multicultural environment and expose you to a wide range of topics in several European jurisdictions, making it a valuable opportunity of professional growth.
Tasks:
* Conduct legal research projects, draft memorandums and provide advisory to internal and external stakeholders in terms of compliance requirements;
* Organize and monitor, under guidance, the implementation of complex compliance schemes, acting as the point of connection for multidisciplinary teams and different departments;
* Provide detailed reporting on the progress of compliance projects’ implementation, flag possible bottlenecks and deliver possible solutions;
* Draft and review legal documentation on a variety of topics, including agreements, statements, legal letters and correspondence;
* Draft new document templates;
* Assist with litigations, claims, disputes, mediations and arbitrations across the region;
* Manage day-by-day legal matters arising out of the business;
Requirements:
* Juris Doctor Degree from a European university. Post graduate education such as LL.M. is a plus;
* 2-4 years of experience in an international fast-paced corporate legal department or international law firm. Experience or understanding of the solar industry is preferred;
* Understanding of the mechanisms of global supply chains is a strong plus;
* Impeccable integrity and professional ethics;
* Hands-on pragmatic approach and problem-solving attitude;
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, including capability to grasp and simplify complex legal concepts to a wider audience;
* Impeccable fluency of both spoken and written English. German and French are a plus;
* Available to travel across the region if needed;
