The manufacturing process combines both mechanical and chemical engineering, is highly automated and undergoing constant innovation. As part of the Group’s evolution, we are seeking a Plant Manager to further develop the site and take on additional responsibility at Group level over time.

Location: Southern Switzerland
Are you an experienced Manager with an Engineering background ready to take on a key role in an expanding international Group?
Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Plant Manager (m/f/d) for its state-of-the-art production site in Switzerland.
You will lead a stable and cooperative team of 30 in a well-organised and automated environment where Safety, Quality and Innovation are top priorities.

What you will do
Reporting to the Group COO, you will:
Ensure optimum operational efficiency
Meet corporate KPIs and manufacturing objectives
Manage and further develop the competence of the team
Foster interest and involvement in implementing innovation and continuous improvement
Ensure continued and improved Quality Control and HSEQ compliance
Implement ERP software
Manage a budget and report into the Group
Take part in international Group projects
What you have
A university engineering degree
Good English and Italian
Minimum 5 years experience in plant / production management with similar process manufacturing
Proven people-management and development experience
Proven ability to increase production and productivity, implement improvement and innovation, ensure compliance and team engagement
Willingness to take part in international projects
Readiness to take on Group Leadership roles over time
Digital literacy, consolidated experience with manufacturing technology and software
Experience and competence in reporting and collaborating with colleagues at Group level
