Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for a QC Inspector/Inspection Coordinator to be based at the supplier's site in Massa area. The inspector will be side by side with Lead Inspector/Expediter to oversee, manage, and coordinate QC Inspection Activities/Expediting Activities relevant to the Turbo‐Compressor Trains and Auxiliaries for the projects. The ideal candidate should have a good background for rotating equipment Projects, experience in projects coordination, good knowledge of typical applicable documents and expediting experience.Responsibilities

Perform inspection activities at EPC premises and EPC sub‐vendor's premisesSupport Lead Inspector to plan, coordinate, and provide instructions/documentation to local inspectors on the basis of applicable Notification for InspectionsLiaise daily with the vendor's quality team and internal stakeholders to address findings, agree on actions, and monitor their closureSupport Lead Inspector to maintain accurate records (punch‐lists, reports registers, shared folder data), issue reports, and review local inspector's reportsEnsure compliance with Project QC requirements and US regulations, NFPA, ASME, and other relevant codes and standardsProactively identify quality risks and work collaboratively to implement preventive measuresParticipate in internal and external quality meetings and provide technical input as required
RequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in inspection and Projects follow-up (preferably turbo‐compressor trains).
Knowledge of US codes xjrgpwk and standards (e.g., "ASME, NFPA, AWS"), scope application, and ability to consult themFluent in English (spoken and written); Italian language is a plusAvailability to attend activities and meetings at EPC facilities (Tuscany area) but also at sub‐vendors (Italy and abroad)
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldNDT Qualifications and Welding Inspector Qualification are a plusFamiliarity with mechanical and E&I (preferred) scopes is desirable
