PThe Strategic Buyer is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for a specific group or category, managing associated suppliers, and overseeing the entire external supply chain from supplier to production. The role involves identifying optimization opportunities to reduce procurement costs and ensuring procurement processes meet project needs and goals. /ppbTask Responsibilities /b /pulliLead and coordinate negotiations for major project purchases within designated commodities, utilizing available departmental resources and collaborating within the business unit. /liliLead and direct operational buyers, managing inventory levels within the commodity group or category. /liliDevelop and enforce supplier contracts, including NDAs, quality agreements, and business agreements, in an international environment with service and development partners. /liliManage the supplier portfolio, including market analysis, benchmarking, and price negotiations. /liliExecute RFQs, conduct purchase price analysis, and negotiate with suppliers, including 'Supplier first evaluation'. /liliAchieve targets related to purchasing savings and inventory management for the commodity group or category. /liliConduct supplier audits in collaboration with RA / QA teams. /liliCreate and evaluate monthly KPIs, and implement improvement measures. /liliPerform annual risk assessments of key suppliers. /liliSupport manufacturing plants in resolving supplier issues to meet delivery targets. /liliAssist in resolving complex complaints and delivery problems with suppliers. /liliSupport RD in launching new products with existing or new suppliers. /liliMaintain key supplier and material master data. /liliDrive internal process improvements and best practices. /liliEnsure suppliers are prepared for production and all system updates are completed. /liliEnsure compliance with procurement policies and standards. /liliDevelop and implement standards to guide continuous improvement programs. /liliCollaborate with project managers to review and approve supplier operation plans. /li /ulpbEducation /b /pulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. /li /ulpbSkills Competencies /b /pulliStrong negotiation and communication skills, even in challenging situations. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP ERP system, purchasing processes, negotiation strategies, and data analysis.
