A Marketing and Communications Intern is a professional who assists in developing and promoting the company's brand and expertise in a specific region.
Based in Milan in a very nice work environment, you will assist the local Marketing and Communication Manager in the daily follow up of the local MarComm media, campaigns and events plan for.
This may include completing administrative duties, preparing social media analysis and promotional materials as well as creating presentations.
In addition, you will support the Italian sales team with specific clients' requests.
Responsibilities
Marketing
Help with local coordination/logistics of planned local events.
Help with translations for all Italian language marketing literature and tools.
Help both the international marketing and the local team with the development or adaptation of new marketing material and the update or review of existing material for distributors and institutional clients.
Support the local manager in adapting central marketing campaigns to local needs and usage, including translating articles and landing pages, adding video subtitles, creating dedicated CRM emails, and social media posts.
Perform analysis on various communication and marketing campaigns, analyzing data and metrics related to local distribution of international campaigns (social media posts, landing page visits, CRM insights, etc.).
Communication
Support the local manager in daily management of local PR inquiries.
Support the manager in communication with local external suppliers and act as quality check for communication to external clients and prospects.
Support the local manager and PR agency with translation and adaptation of content for local media partnerships or client needs (including articles, advertising, video scripts from English to Italian).
Other
Support the local team in daily administrative tasks if required.
Help with review and update of local Italian language corporate or product collateral (fund presentations, fund manager's comments, sales aids, website sections updates, brochure, etc.).
Manage and update company database and customer relationship management system (CRM) for MarComm counterparts, activities, and tools.
Qualifications
Current enrolment in a related Master (preference) / Bachelor's degree is a must.
0-2 years of experience.
Solid understanding of different marketing and communication channels.
Strong desire to learn and professional drive.
Ability to build a relevant network with DPAM's international team.
Team player.
Self-starter with strong personal motivation.
Stress resistant and persistent.
Skills
Excellent knowledge of Italian grammar to develop and review marketing literature with an eye for detail and precision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level).
Knowledge of a second EU language is a plus (in particular French).
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (online analytics, CRM).
