PRIMARY FUNCTION / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will be involved in an industrial thesis project focused on the optimization of a CNC tube‑shaping workstation. Under the supervision of the company tutor, the student will learn how to: Analyze the current material supply conditions for the workstation. Study and redesign the service area dedicated to material handling and workstation support. Evaluate and improve the layout of the workstation to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Map and optimize the internal logistics and material flow to and from the CNC tube‑shaping machine. Identify opportunities for operational improvement through data analysis and lean manufacturing principles. Propose and validate new solutions for the organization of tools, materials, and space near the workstation. Support the definition of new standards and procedures to ensure sustainable improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Management, Energy, Chemical, Materials, Environmental Engineering, or other STEM disciplines (Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, etc.). Strong interest in production processes, industrial optimization, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Good command of English, written and spoken. Good knowledge of MS Office tools. THESIS PROJECT DURATION 3 to 6 months, with the possibility to adjust timing according to academic needs.
