These are the pillars of the Carel Culture Code, which forms the basis of our company culture and growth.Position: Manufacturing Manager – Trezzo Sull'Adda (MI)The Manufacturing Manager will report to the Plant Operations Manager and will manage Production Supervisors and Team Leaders as well as all production operators. The role will coordinate with all plant functions – HR Business Partner, Business Developer, Customer Service, Warehouse, Production Engineering, R&D;, QHSE, Purchasing – and the Group Planning function.ResponsibilitiesSafety – support the RSPP and QHSE Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, promote improvement actions to prevent injuries and occupational diseases, monitor KPIs and involve the plant in prevention.Quality – reduce product defectiveness and process scrap, lower customer claims, support QHSE in claim analysis and resolution.Delivery – ensure timely and complete fulfillment of customer orders, optimize resource planning (materials, personnel, equipment) to provide best service at lowest cost.Cost – achieve efficiency targets for direct/indirect staff and production lines, collaborate with plant operations, LDO and Group Engineering to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve investment returns.Continuous Improvement – stimulate the team to conduct continuous improvement activities and adopt lean, Six‑Sigma and other tools (5S, PDCA, A3, TPM, 4M, DMAIC, KANBAN, VMI).Investment & Expense – contribute to investment planning, monitor operational spend, and oversee budget accountability.Collaborative Optimization – work with other production sites to balance line loads, manage inventories, reduce inter‑company logistics costs, and deliver superior market service.Leadership – build a high‑performing team, partner with HR on development plans, mentor staff, foster a collaborative climate, and inspire a vision of continuous improvement.Training – coordinate and support training initiatives for the assigned departments.Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist in defining investment plans and monitor operational cost status as accountable.Collaborate with other sites for line load balance, stock management, and logistics cost reduction.QualificationsSolid experience in Operations (10+ years) in structured manufacturing environments, make‑to‑order, and high‑complexity production.Experience working in an international, matrixed organization.Strong focus on plant KPIs and proven ability to lead teams toward performance goals.Previous experience in labor‑intensive production with MTO and JIT short lead times (2‑3 weeks).Knowledge of lean, Six‑Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies (5S, PDCA, A3, TPM, 4M, DMAIC, KANBAN, VMI, etc.).Bachelor’s degree in engineering.Proficiency in managing production resources – personnel and economics – to ensure efficiency.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Excellent Office skills, especially Excel.Ability to inspire and manage collaborators, articulate a shared vision and collaborate across all management levels.Adaptability to change and capability to handle sudden budget variations due to market shifts.Other InformationMake the difference…anyway: this position may not be for everyone.
