WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Job Title: IT Support Engineer – End-User & Infrastructure Services Location: Rome (Anagnina Area), Italy Join our client’s elite technical team supporting European space programmes. The company partners with space agencies and institutions, with expertise in IT systems, operations, and engineering support for ground segment infrastructures. We seek a motivated IT Support Engineer eager to start or advance their career in a dynamic, international environment. You will be part of a high-performing IT department, ensuring the functionality, performance, and support of end-user IT services. A B2 level of English is required. YOUR TASKS Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for end-user devices, workstations, printers, video conferencing tools, and office IT equipment (on-site and remote). Manage incidents and service requests from start to resolution, including ticket tracking and escalation. Coordinate with internal SMEs and third-party vendors for timely issue resolution and procurement. Assist with Asset Lifecycle Management: procurement, tracking, inspection, deployment, inventory, and disposal of EOL items. Prepare and deploy laptops, mobile devices, tablets, peripherals, and video conferencing tools. Support IT projects during design, implementation, and early operational phases. Document solutions and update knowledge bases for long-term issue resolution. Support automation and workflow improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At least 2 years of experience in IT end-user support or technical operations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365. Device and identity management tools: Active Directory, Entra ID, InTune, Defender, Autopilot. Experience with Polycom video conferencing systems. Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or other official languages of the assignment country is a plus. Preferred: Hands-on experience with IT asset lifecycle processes. Good documentation and process standardization skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for supporting users and coordinating with vendors. Proactive, customer-centric mindset with attention to detail.
