Requirements Analysis & System Design
\n
\n
- Analyze input requirements to define control architecture and detailed specifications.
\n
- Model and simulate propulsion systems and power converters to optimize component sizing and topology selection.
\n
\n
Required Skills / Knowledge
\n\n
- Expertise in vector control theory (FOC, DTC) for electric machines.
\n
- Dynamic system modeling and simulation using Simulink/Simscape.
\n
- Embedded & Real‑Time Systems: Proficient in C/C++, Python and Linux for embedded systems development.
\n
- Firmware development: microcontroller register programming, peripheral drivers, and interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, ADC).
\n
- FPGA programming using VHDL for high‑speed control applications.
\n
- Power Electronics & Electric Propulsion: Strong understanding of power converter topologies (DC/DC, AC/DC, inverters).
\n
- Communication Protocols & Standards.
\n
- Software & Systems Engineering.
\n
- Model-Based Design (MBD) for control systems using Simulink/Stateflow.
\n
\n
Additional Competencies
\n\n
- Electric Machines: Deep understanding of PMSM, induction motors, and BLDC control techniques.
\n
- Testing & Validation: Familiarity with HIL/SIL/MIL environments for system verification.
\n
- Industrial Standards: Compliance with IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and automotive/railway safety norms.
\n
- Advanced knowledge of automation control theory and real‑time signal processing.
\n
- Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS) and Eclipse‑based toolchains.
\n
- Knowledge of electric/hybrid propulsion systems and electric machine control (PMSM, induction motors).
\n
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing (dSPACE, Speedgoat, OPAL‑RT).
\n
- Hands‑on experience with CAN, Ethernet, MVB buses and protocols (J1939, TRDP, TCN).
\n
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (EN50128, EN50657, IEEE1558).
\n
- Requirements management with IBM Rational DOORS.
\n
- Experience with automated code generation for embedded targets.
\n
- Fluent in English (professional proficiency).
