The Area Revenue Manager oversees revenue management operations and strategy for designated properties within the Belmond Southern Europe & UK Region. This role is crucial in optimizing revenue and maximizing profitability through effective pricing and yield management strategies. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy. Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation to identify revenue opportunities. Conduct daily pick‑up analysis, adjusting pricing and inventory strategies as necessary. Monitor and manage distribution channels, ensuring optimal revenue and rate positioning. Prepare and present regular revenue performance reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages. Utilize revenue management systems (PMS, Channel Manager, CRS) effectively to support decision‑making. Contribute to the annual revenue budgeting process, providing accurate forecasts and recommendations. Lead training initiatives for new team members on revenue management systems and processes. Lead revenue meetings to align strategies and goals across departments. Knowledge of the London market is a plus. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue management within the luxury hospitality industry. Proven track record of implementing successful revenue management strategies. Proficiency in revenue management software and tools. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
