Experteer Overview In this role you will own the end-to-end delivery and ongoing evolution of the Synthetics Product Line, including Virtual Platform, Synthetic Environment, and Simulation Framework. You will align cross-domain teams and partner ecosystems to accelerate enterprise product delivery, support validation and certification, and ensure robust data and model governance. You will lead roadmaps, backlogs, and improvements across tooling, processes, and interfaces with Digital Thread, PLM, and data lake ecosystems. This role offers work across defense-aerospace domains, with significant impact on simulation fidelity, test and training environments, and regulatory assurance.

* Own delivery and lifecycle management of Synthetics products and services (VP, SE, Simulation Framework, scenario libraries, models, analytics)
* Provide expertise in modeling and simulation, co-simulation, distributed simulation, and HIL/SIL/MIL integration
* Translate business needs into roadmaps, delivery plans, and backlogs
* Advise on best practices for model development, V&V, data correlation, and governance
* Define and deploy processes with integration to enterprise systems (Digital Thread, PLM, data lake)
* Ensure on-time delivery within scope, budget, and quality targets
* Manage lifecycle upgrades, obsolescence, and environment refreshes
* Capture requirements across partners to drive convergent tools and methods
* Communicate vision, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences

* Define domain and supply chain integration with hardware, model suppliers, system integrators
* Drive technology innovation, CI/CD for models, containerization, AI-assisted generation
* Coordinate delivery with internal teams, partners, and suppliers
* Monitor performance, fidelity, risks, and capacity for campaigns and milestones
* Foster incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement
* Balance near-term delivery with long-term architecture and data strategy
* Ensure interoperability across tools and simulator hardware
* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licenses, SLAs
* Support evaluations, proofs of concept, and strategic tool selection
* Contribute to MBSE integration and standards compliance
* Lead staff training initiatives and enablement materials
Responsabilità
* Minimum 5 years in a similar role within defence or aerospace
* Degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
* Service Management certification or ITIL experience
* Project or Programme Management qualification (APM, Prince2) or equivalent
* Experience with synthetics technologies (simulation frameworks, virtual platforms, distributed simulation, HIL/SIL/MIL)
* Proven track record delivering modeling and simulation solutions in multi-partner environments
* Strong understanding of engineering processes, data governance, and digital thread principles
* Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, system integrators)
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across domains
* Strong delivery mindset across waterfall, agile, or hybrid models
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement enabling translation of technical concepts
