Job Description
You will become a member of a highly specialized application engineering team, enabling customers using Infineon’s automotive software.
Your responsibilities include:
* Be the go-to-person for your worldwide customers and Infineon’s Field Application Engineers (FAEs) analyzing and answering technical requests
* Be responsible for enabling of our customers’ applications using Infineon’s microcontroller software products
* Train FAEs or customers in the area of your technical expertise
* Support software design-in at our customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon’s 32bit microcontrollers
* Develop technical expertise in the area of pinning, package, and I/O functionality and its debugging
* Develop customer configuration tools for latest pinning and package technologies
* Strive to constantly and consistently exceed our customers’ expectations by providing technical support from product to system-level
* Conduct development and feasibility studies on embedded hardware applications and perform benchmarking
* Compile technical concepts and application documentation
* Collaborate and share your knowledge with R&D

Qualifications
* A degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, ideally with a focus on software aspects of embedded hardware and low-level software
* At least 5 years of experience in the area of device driver design and device configuration in real-time embedded systems, and its production integration
* Low-level embedded software development skills in embedded C, performance profiling, and debugging
* Proficiency in Python
* Fluency in English
