Sr. Software Engineer, High Performance Computing
The AWS High Performance Computing (HPC) team is seeking an experienced SDE to lead a core area of a new HPC service.
The HPC team is developing a set of offerings that enable customers to plan, schedule, and execute HPC workloads across AWS compute services and capabilities.
As part of the HPC organization, you'll join a world-class team in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating actively with other AWS teams across locations.
This role offers the opportunity to operate and engineer systems at a global scale, influencing significant parts of AWS services.
As a senior SDE, you'll define architectures for larger, complex projects and services, lead the design and implementation of critical components, promote best practices in quality, security, and operational excellence, and help deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional software development experience
* 5+ years of experience in programming with at least one language
* 5+ years leading system design or architecture (patterns, reliability, scaling)
* Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader
* 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience (coding standards, reviews, source control, build, testing, operations)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
