MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
• Hierarchical relationship: PVV SPDT
• To supervise a high degree of PVV activities during the construction/precommissioning and commissioning
activities for the Platform (Wellhead platform, jacket, topsides).
• To ensure proper coordination between construction, pre-commissioning activities.
• To provide technical guidance to contractor and subcontractor work teams.
• Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP) and OPERCOM methodology
• The Job holder may also have to be involved in his discipline activities during WHP Topsides commissioning
(worksite), hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases.
ACTIVITIES
HSE
• To achieve and to make achieve to the personnel, contractors / subcontractors the HSE rules of Austral
Total and of the Company.
• To achieve the goals and annual aims of the Project.
• To participate in HSE audits and visits to construction sites.
• To raise anomalies cards for any unsafe/safe situation observed
TTechnical
• During construction and pre-commissioning phases, the job holder shall:
- Participate to KOM with Contractor/Subcontractor wrt Discipline matters.
- Review the relevant Contractors and suppliers ITP's and procedures (in coordination with PVV discipline);
- Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved drawings and plans, Surveillance plans,
Inspection and test plans.
- Monitor and control CTR’s daily / weekly progress report for construction for all PVV activities
- Monitor the work deficiencies and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective actions.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued.
- Stop & report immediately to PVV SPDT any anomaly or non-conformity.
- Attend, when requested, the various construction meetings, and provide support to the PVV SPDT in its
- Participate to construction, HSE or QAQC specific audits or visits; Provide regular inspection & activity
reports.
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued.
- Review and approve the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor and/or
Subcontractors/Vendors on a daily basis.
- Ensure that Contractor and Vendors personnel are qualified for the task they’ve been assigned to.
- Issue Non-Conformance reports or review Contractor Non-Conformance reports and validate dispositions.
Intervene as necessary where warranted.
- Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report and lesson learnt.
- To verify the completeness and correctness of the as built drawings and manage the final project
documentation and ensure the complete handover to CPY Commissioning team.
• To monitor and report preparation of COW activities if any.

- Status: residential
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Confirmed PVV expertise, with at least 15 years’ experience in large international projects (offshore platform)
• Piping experience is required on topsides EPCIC Project and practical knowledge of applicable codes and
standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC. Experience on construction yard is required.
• Background with TOTAL. General Specifications
• Good Knowledge of OPERCOM / ICAPS Methodology
• A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to design,
fabrication, inspection and pre-commissioning.
• Fluency in English. Italian is a plus.
