Role Overview
The Distribution & Connectivity Manager will be responsible for driving the optimization of VoxCity’s products across key OTA platforms, including GetYourGuide, Headout, Klook, Tiqets, and others. This role will involve improving product performance through strategic pricing, market understanding, and content optimization to ensure high product visibility and competitive positioning across platforms. Additionally, the role will oversee the team responsible for product loading onto these platforms, ensuring efficiency and quality in the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
Product Optimization
* Develop strategies to improve product rankings on major OTAs, focusing on market trends, competitor analysis, and pricing models.
* Continuously optimize product content to align with platform algorithms, ensuring high visibility and conversion.
* Create pricing strategies that enhance competitiveness while maximizing revenue potential.
* Understand the factors that influence platform algorithms and leverage those insights to improve rankings and product placement.
Market Analysis & Competitor Insight
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and platform-specific features to stay ahead of industry changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Identify pricing, positioning, and content strategies that differentiate VoxCity’s offerings from competitors, improving both conversion rates and product visibility.
Performance Management
* Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., rankings, conversion rates, reviews) to assess product success and implement improvements.
* Proactively adjust strategies based on performance data to ensure continuous optimization.
Content & Distribution Alignment
* Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure that content across platforms is aligned with branding and optimized for user engagement.
* Oversee product updates, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned with market needs.
Team Oversight
* Supervise the team responsible for the loading and onboarding of products across OTA platforms, ensuring timely and accurate product uploads.
* Provide guidance and support to the product loading team to ensure that all products meet platform requirements and are properly optimized.
Collaboration & Reporting
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage product updates, pricing changes, and promotional efforts.
* Report regularly on product performance, insights, and optimization strategies to senior management.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in product optimization on OTAs (GetYourGuide, Klook, etc.).
* Strong commercial mindset with expertise in pricing and revenue optimization.
* Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
* Solid understanding of platform algorithms and what drives product rankings.
* Analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and implement actionable changes.
* Experience with competitor analysis and market trend monitoring.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience in team supervision or leadership, particularly in the context of product onboarding.
Reporting Line
This role will report into the Head of Product & Operations and work closely with the wider Product, Connectivity, and Commercial teams.
