Senior Financial Controller
to strengthen and structure our finance function.
This role is ideal for someone who combines
strong accounting foundations with hands-on experience in management control
and wants to play a key role inside a fast-growing tech company.
About the role
You will take ownership of
management control and accounting
, working closely with the
Finance Manager
and leadership team to ensure financial rigor while supporting strategic decision-making.
You'll operate at the intersection of
financial reporting, accounting, and performance analysis
, helping us build scalable financial processes in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage
management control and accounting processes
across the company.
Oversee the
full accounting cycle
, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Develop and maintain
financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
.
Monitor and analyze
financial performance, KPIs, and cost structures
, supporting leadership with data-driven insights.
Implement and improve
financial controls, processes, and reporting systems
.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
Support the
Finance Manager
on cash flow monitoring, planning, and financial analysis.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in
audit at a Big Four firm
, at least at
Senior Auditor level
.
Subsequent experience in
management control / Financial Controller roles
.
Strong background in
accounting and financial reporting
.
Ability to work autonomously and bring structure to a
fast-growing environment
.
Excellent attention to detail
and high standards for accuracy.
Professional proficiency in
English and Italian
.
Nice to have
Experience in
SaaS or tech companies
.
Familiarity with
SaaS financial metrics and recurring revenue models
.
Experience working with
ERP systems such as NetSuite
.
