Overview
About Us: At Adaptronics, we are at the forefront of deep-tech innovation, revolutionizing how robots grasp objects, on Earth and in space. Our groundbreaking Electro Active Adhesive Layer (EAAL) is a thin-film technology that empowers robots and automated machinery to manipulate objects with unparalleled versatility, lightweight design, and energy efficiency. Through electrostatics, our thin-film becomes adhesive on command, and features AI-driven embedded sensor capabilities for proximity and contact force. Our products find application in various sectors, from industrial automation to in-orbit servicing.
Who are we looking for: We are looking for a hands-on, skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing and integration team.
The selected candidate will work directly on the production process of the EAAL and on its integration into Adaptronics’ electroadhesive robotic gripping products, designed for object handling in automated machinery and robotic grippers.
The technician will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and integration of EAAL-based components and systems, contributing to the development and scaling of our advanced manufacturing processes.
The production activities involve a combination of advanced manufacturing and precision processing techniques, including: flexible printed electronics manufacturing, laser processing and micro-machining, additive manufacturing, machining with conventional machine tools, quality measurements and inspection procedures, and assembly, bonding, and integration of multilayer components.
The role requires a practical attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with engineers and researchers to translate advanced electroadhesive technologies into robust industrial products.
