For a multinational pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager who strategically supports the business operation in Italy.
This role reporting directly to the Director Legal & Compliance South of Europe will be part of the regional legal and compliance leadership team.
**KEY ACTIVITIES**
Legal:
- to act as a key business partner providing all legal support to the businesses in Italy, including litigation, healthcare and other contracts, advising and participating in strategic discussions around products and the businesses;
- to manage the corporate secretarial matters and provide corporate governance advice;
- to provide advice and guidance on competition law, data privacy law (GDPR), pharmaceutical and medical devices law, media, advertising and promotional law.
Compliance, drive and implement the Company Compliance Program & Imperatives notably by:
- ensuring that Italian businesses adhere and follow company policies and local legislation in respect of all interactions with healthcare professionals, government officials and other third parties (law 231, anty-bribery,..);
- designing and implementing Monitoring protocols, Training Program and Transparency Disclosure obligations;
- leading Compliance Governance within the country and executing Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis & Closure in accordance with Audit results;
- representing the Company in the Organismo di Vigilanza.
Undertakes to observe the regulatory requirements applicable to the assigned activities including pharmaceutical that he/she works on.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Legal & Compliance in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Excellent written and verbal English Language knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ethics based leadership
