The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of specifications for programmers according to backlog priorities, eliminating roadblocks, and supporting effort definition during the prioritization process. The role requires someone who is comfortable engaging with engineers, RD specialists, and software developers, and who can confidently navigate technical discussions across multiple domains. /p h3How You’ll Make An Impact /h3 ul liLead and develop a growing team of Domain Experts responsible for design platform specifications /li liEnsure that specifications are prepared in a timely manner and aligned with backlog priorities /li liAct as a key liaison between RD, engineering, and programming teams to ensure mutual understanding /li liIdentify and remove roadblocks that hinder progress, escalating issues when necessary /li liSupport the effort estimation process during prioritization and planning phases /li liFacilitate communication between programmers and Domain Experts to ensure clarity on design tool requirements /li liRepresent the team in RD program management meetings and contribute to strategic discussions /li liPromote a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering /li liProven experience in leading technical teams or subject matter experts, ideally in transformer design /li liStrong understanding of transformer design processes and related design tools /li liDemonstrated ability to develop and manage technical specifications in collaboration with RD /li liExcellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams /li liAbility to manage competing priorities and drive timely, high-quality execution /li /ul pHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
