In this role you will plan the project, deploy the hardware, configuration and fiber connectivity for new data center builds across the EMEA region. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years experience in TCP/IP, networking concepts, and troubleshooting network devices, cabling, and connectivity issues. /li liAbility to lead migrations, configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware, with broad understanding of infrastructure technologies. /li li3+ years experienced knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, as well as experience with cabling infrastructure best practices. /li liAbility to manage work and priorities through ticketing and workflow systems, with requirement to travel up to 70% within and outside geographical work area. /li liPhysical component requiring ability to lift up to 40lbs and work in cramped or elevated spaces while following health and safety guidelines. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in relevant field or 3+ years high-level/enterprise experience as technician/engineer, with certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA. /li liFamiliarity with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details in a dynamic work environment. /li liUnderstanding of command line protocols, networking protocols, and experience in large-scale data center network implementations. /li liExperience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments, with familiarity in IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, LEAN, AGILE). /li /ul pbAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
