About The Role
We are seeking a Frontend Designer who began as a designer and later transitioned into frontend development. You should have exceptional design taste, advanced Figma skills, and the ability to work autonomously from high-level references to create outstanding user interfaces. This role requires someone who can take strategic direction and independently develop complete interface solutions without constant guidance. You’ll be responsible for both designing exceptional UI experiences and implementing them in code, ensuring every detail meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement exceptional interfaces using Figma and AI design tools (hero.ui.chat, v0.dev, same.new) based on high-level references, working autonomously with minimal guidance.
* Develop production-ready code using Next.js 14.0+, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with meticulous attention to detail, without the need for QA oversight.
* Create scalable, component-based UIs using structured design systems (NextUI, HeroUI) while maintaining consistency, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
* Translate strategic requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and collaborate effectively with product teams while maintaining design autonomy.
Qualifications
* Designer-to-developer background with advanced Figma expertise. Must have started as a UI/UX designer before transitioning into frontend development.
* Autonomous design excellence ability to create complete interfaces from high-level references with exceptional attention to detail as a baseline expectation.
* Frontend and AI tool proficiency with 2+ years of experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, plus modern AI design tools for rapid interface creation.
* Independent problem-solving experience building and maintaining scalable component architectures while resolving design and technical challenges autonomously.
Nice to Have
* Experience working with design systems and component-based architecture.
* Background in D2C product development or performance marketing.
* Experience optimizing accessibility and usability.
Location
WinTech operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ±4 hours of CET.

Interview Process
