For our Worldwide Finance & Control Department we are looking for a Treasury Accountant to join the Worldwide Treasury Team at our HQ in Milan.
Your Impact
The Treasury Accountant will support the team by managing the organization's financial assets, ensuring optimal liquidity, and mitigating financial risks through effective cash flow management and strategic investment planning.
Activities :
* Perform bank reconciliations, load and prepare periodic payments, manage bank instruments (e.g., RiBa, checks), and maintain relationships with preferred banks.
* Analyze bank fees, prepare cash flow forecasts in Euro and foreign currency, and analyze monthly variances in accordance with Group deadlines.
* Record currency hedging transactions according to accounting standards, maintain bank account functionalities (e.g., updating signature specimens), and ensure compliance with international accounting principles.
* Prepare periodic reporting as required by the Group, ensure all deadlines are effectively managed and met, and assist in month-end accounting closure.
* Supervise treasury activities of foreign subsidiaries, including assisting those with limited management autonomy (e.g., approval of payments, periodic reporting, new account opening).
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
* Degree in economics or similar fields.
* Previous experience in the role of 3 / 5 years.
* Knowledge of treasury accounting (bank reconciliations, main payment methods, payments and collections, bank guarantees, cash flows, etc.).
* Good knowledge of the English language.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
