S&you, a renowned international brand specializing in Professional Staffing and the Search and Selection of Qualified Personnel, is seeking a Mechanical Designer for its Guidonia office, representing a highly specialized company in the defense and space sector.
Position
Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the candidate will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and managing production processes, including testing, of systems and products for the target market. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Developing projects using solid modeling software;
2. Defining manufacturing processes;
3. Producing detailed manufacturing drawings;
4. Creating testing procedures;
5. Preparing user manuals and documentation;
6. Interfacing with clients to define product requirements;
7. Collaborating with manufacturers for prototype development;
8. Integrating prototypes into final products;
9. Conducting product testing onsite or at qualification laboratories;
10. Providing on-site support for initial product installations.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess strong skills in solid modeling programs (preferably Creo Parametric, Ansys) as well as AutoCAD. Experience in structural and thermal analysis will be highly valued. Good command of English is required.
