About the Role The European Works Council (EWC), established in 1997, represents Generali Group employees across Europe, currently comprising 43 delegates from 17 EU countries. Its main purpose is to be informed and consulted on European transnational projects and initiatives that impact workers. Key topics include digital transformation, new ways of working, and sustainability, as outlined in the recent Joint Declaration on the New Sustainable Way of Working in a Next Normal Scenario. To facilitate ongoing dialogue between the EWC and the Group, a dedicated team called the EWC Relations and Labour Network was established at Generali Group Head Office. We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to join this team. Key Responsibilities Support social dialogue with the EWC, managing information and consultation processes, and aligning local HR and Business Units involved in transnational projects. Strengthen relationships and communication with the EWC regarding Group initiatives and projects. Serve as the main interlocutor with the EWC Secretary, Vice-Secretary, and the Select Committee. Update GHO teams and local Labour Relations contacts on EWC meeting outcomes. Prepare and participate in meetings, contribute to documentation, create presentations, and draft minutes. Manage critical labour cases following the Group European Social Charter. Coordinate meeting logistics, including relationships with interpreters and suppliers. Manage budgets related to meetings, including payments and reimbursements. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Law, Human Resources, Economics, Political or Sociological Sciences, International Relations, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in legal or HR departments within multinational companies, preferably in global roles. Experience in regulatory and contractual analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Working proficiency in Italian and English. Strong international relations, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and detail-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
