GRS Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join a reputable accounting company based in Nicosia. Our client is dedicated to delivering top-notch audit and accounting services, and they are looking for a skilled professional who is eager to enhance their team's capabilities. The successful candidate will perform audit engagements for the company’s clients and will work closely with the Manager, Supervisors, and Staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service. If you are a motivated Auditor ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform audit engagements for the company’s clients.
2. Prepare financial statements.
3. Work closely with the Manager, Supervisors, and Staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
4. Manage multiple assignments and be able to work under pressure.
5. Reporting to the Manager on daily tasks and client issues.
6. Performing audits for international/local clients.
7. Planning, execution and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs.
8. Reporting to Audit Manager regarding status, progress and completion of audits.
9. Communication with clients via emails/phone.
10. Provide assistance to other team members as required.
11. Ensuring that the instructions and decisions of management are adhered at all times.
12. Preparation of clients’ tax returns and tax computations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
13. University degree.
14. Newly qualified or partly qualified accountant with minimum 2-3 years of experience in audit firm.
15. Knowledge of financial services industry would be considered an advantage.
16. Knowledge of Caseware.
17. Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an advantage.
18. Team spirit and very responsible person.
19. Computer literacy.
20. Strong communication and organisation skills.
21. Strong personality who is able to build relationships with people (staff and particularly associates and clients).
22. Be very methodical and multitasking individual.
23. Attention to detail.
24. Ability to deliver results and tasks in a timely manner.
25. Very good academic background.
