Job Description
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the finance function and is responsible for the month-end close process, reconciliation reporting, variance analysis, audits, enforcing department accounting policies and other ad-hoc projects. Additionally, this role assists with our SAP initiatives and internal and external financial reporting. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the consistent integrity of information, in a timely manner.
* Compliance with internal and external accounting policies, procedures and legislation.
* Management of the month end process to ensure completed to prescribed timelines.
* Supporting of E-Archiving Invoices, E-Invoicing Portal, Exchange rate difference calculations.
* Reconciliation and posting of payroll information into SAP.
* Accruals posting, based on cost centres revision and in collaboration with business and manufacturing finance.
* Monthly review of balance sheet of 2 legal entities to identify and resolve any issues.
* Inter company reconciliations.
* Local Taxes calculation and Payments.
* VAT returns and associated work.
* Work closely with Tax advisor to deliver tax computations and prepare Tax Calculation.
* Manage and support external audits.
* Supporting transfer pricing.
* Perform other special projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelors-Accounting or related.
* Minimum 5 years of experience
* Italian and English. Turkish is a plus.
* Microsoft Office – in particular strong Excel skills.
* SAP / or ERP system.
