Design and implement automated tests, write BDD test scenarios in Gherkin using CucumberManage automated test cases and test execution in Jira with Xray to ensure high-quality software deliveryDevelop and maintain user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworksAnalyze requirements and specifications to design and create test casesPlan and execute manual and/or automated testsDocument test results and create defect reportsWork closely with developers, product managers, and QA team membersReproduce, analyze, and track software defectsDevelop and maintain test plans, test data, and testing environmentsContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processesSupport the release and acceptance processParticipate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration activities
What You'll Bring Along
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable fieldExperience in software testing, ideally in Agile projects (e.g., Scrum)Knowledge of testing methodologies, test management, and test documentationExperience working with test management tools (e.g., JIRA / Xray)Experience writing and maintaining test specifications using Gherkin syntax (Given–When–Then)Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as CucumberBasic knowledge of programming languages is considered a plusExperience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantageISTQB certification is considered an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills in German are a mandatory requirement for this role
