Executive Housekeeper (EH)

Position Overview:
The Executive Housekeeper (EH)
is responsible for
the on-site management and oversight of all housekeeping and environmental cleaning (HEC) services at a medical facility. This role ensures full compliance with contract requirements,
maintains
quality performance, and acts as the primary point of contact for all performance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated on-site authority for the contractor on all performance and quality matters.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of housekeeping staff to ensure delivery of HEC services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Implement and execute the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan (QCP), including submission of inspection reports and corrective action plans.
- Maintain consistent communication with the COR during duty hours and respond to inquiries within designated timeframes.
- Be available on-site within one (1) working day of notification and within two (2) hours after-hours if required.
Submit required deliverables and reports as specified in the contract.

Certification Requirements:
- Must hold or obtain one of the following certifications
:
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) – AHE
- Certified/Registered Environmental Services Executive (C/RESE) – IEHA
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years HEC experience within the last five (5) years in a medical facility with inpatient, outpatient, and surgical specialties.
Management Expectations:
- Supervise on-site personnel and ensure adequate staffing.
- Provide or designate a manager (e.g., Group Leader, Shift Supervisor) available during duty hours for communication.
- Maintain an after-hours notification process for emergency or urgent matters.
