This role focuses on how emerging technologies enable digital transformation in the life sciences industry, with a hands-on involvement in client work and responsibility for shaping NNIT’s service offerings and market position in the EU life sciences sector. /ph3Your Responsibilities As Consulting Director In Digital Manufacturing /h3pIn the Life Sciences Digital Manufacturing team, you will join an international department with colleagues who understand the pharmaceutical industry and bridge this knowledge with digital solutions that drive operational excellence for our customers. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliProvide cross-functional leadership across Delivery and Sales teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency in digital manufacturing transformation initiatives. /liliAct as a trusted advisor to global life science clients, leading engagements focused on advisory, implementation, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and digital manufacturing solutions. /liliShape and evolve NNIT’s Digital Manufacturing service portfolio, translating industry trends into strategic advisory, technology deployment, and managed service offerings tailored for the life sciences sector. /liliDrive business development and growth with a focus on Central Europe, identifying new opportunities and cultivating strong client relationships to expand NNIT’s regional footprint. /liliPosition NNIT as a thought leader in Digital Manufacturing for Life Sciences, representing the company at conferences, panels, and industry events. /liliCollaborate with senior consultants, delivery teams, and management to ensure best practices, quality implementation standards, and innovation in digital manufacturing projects. /liliEngage with technology partners and MES vendors such as Körber PAS-X, Rockwell FTPS, Siemens, Emerson Syncade, and comparable platforms to strengthen NNIT’s solution ecosystem. /liliMaintain strong engagement with regulatory and standardization bodies (EMA, FDA, ISO, GAMP), ensuring compliance and alignment with evolving manufacturing regulations. /li /ulh3Your Qualifications And Experiences /h3ulliMSc degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field. /lili8+ years of experience in digital manufacturing or MES implementation within the life sciences industry. /liliStrong business acumen and proven ability to drive commercial success, including presales, RfP response, and statement of work creation. /liliHands-on experience with major MES solutions (e.g., PAS-X, Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson, Syncade) and integration with automation and IT systems. /liliDemonstrated cross-functional leadership skills, collaborating effectively across technical delivery, manufacturing, and IT solution teams. /liliSolution-oriented mindset focused on client value, efficiency, and innovation. /liliExcellent command of English; proficiency in a Central European language (e.g., German) is a strong advantage. /li /ulpThis role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead NNIT’s digital manufacturing strategy and service delivery, supporting life science clients in achieving smart, compliant, and connected operations.
