Duties:
 * Oversee machine-shop operations involving manufacture of carbon-steel, stainless-steel, nickel-alloy, and other metallic flanges.
 * Coordinate the formulation of and implement production schedules to optimize results and resources utilization.
 * Manage day-shift and night-shift resources and effectively organize and plan daily tasks to ensure and enhance efficiency.
 * Identify and implement innovative improvements to business processes to increase manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
 * Develop training programs for and direct employees to operate 3-axis CNC machines manufactured by Carnaghi, Okuma, and Doosan and CNC robotic cells manufactured by Okuma and Doosan.
 * Forecast and manage inventory of replacement parts and consumables necessary for machine-shop operations.
 * Interface and negotiate with tool suppliers and machine manufacturers for replacement parts and consumables.
 * Oversee maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted, efficient, and effective functionality and operation of 3-axis CNC machines manufactured by Carnaghi, Okuma, and Doosan and CNC robotic cells manufactured by Okuma and Doosan.
 * Develop annual cost and capital-expenditure budget.
 * Collaborate with sales, operations, and executive management to discuss financial results and opportunities for improvement.
 * Manage production and maintenance subcontracting activities to complement internal operations.
 * Analyze monthly results in terms of volume, efficiency, and delivery time and report data to President and Managing Director.
 * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental practices and respond to governmental investigations involving health, safety, and environmental matters.
 * Direct supervisory team, including hiring, delegating work assignments, evaluating performance, and recommending discipline, compensation, and discharge.
 * Select, hire, and indirectly supervise 80-employee machine-shop staff.
Qualifications:
 * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field or experience equivalent to bachelor's degree.
 * 8 years of carbon-steel, stainless-steel, and nickel-alloy product-manufacturing experience involving supervision of medium to large workforce.
 * Experience with operating and maintaining 3-axis or greater CNC machines manufactured by Carnaghi, Okuma, and Doosan.
 * Experience with operating and maintaining CNC robotic cells manufactured by Okuma and Doosan.
 * Experience with preparing and implementing production schedules.
 * Experience with forecasting and managing inventory of replacement parts and consumables.
 * Experience with negotiating with vendors for replacement parts and consumables.
 * Experience with identifying and incorporating innovative features to improve manufacturing processes.
 * Experience with developing cost and capital-expenditure budgets.
 * Experience with ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental practices.
 * Experience with responding to governmental investigations involving health, safety, and environmental matters.
