TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer – Machine Learning to join the Aerospace & Defence division, within a highly innovative, technologically advanced project.
Main responsibilities
* Design and implement data collection and preparation pipelines, building customized datasets for the training and validation of neural networks.
* Develop and optimize artificial intelligence algorithms in the fields of Computer Vision and Aural Recognition.
* Manage the deployment and integration of models within the software platform currently under development.
* Contribute to the definition of technical and functional requirements, working closely with system engineers and the development team to align solutions with project goals.
* Support documentation and qualification activities, in compliance with aeronautical industry standards.
* Collaborate closely with robotics, software, and system engineering teams, actively participating in the integration of complex systems in a high-tech environment.
Required technical skills
* Solid knowledge of major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
* In-depth knowledge of main libraries for computer vision and audio analysis (e.g., OpenCV, Pillow, Librosa)
* Excellent command of the English language (business fluent)
* Strong knowledge of C++ and Python
* Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with ROS
* Experience with Linux-based operating systems
* Skills in sensor integration
* Familiarity with databases
* Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP)
* At least 1 year of prior professional experience
Soft skills
* Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and build professional relationships
* Strong motivation and ability to work independently
Educational requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Music and Acoustic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Physics of Complex Systems
